Farmed Boll 25 times last night…got 7 Fastballs and a complete set, all elements. I don’t think I went more than 30 tries without a drop.
If you mean without the title update, that would depend on which version of the game you have and when you bought it, since Boll’s drop was glitched (actually missing, according to the patch notes) on release but subsequently fixed. I've read that Boll in Three Horns Divide drops the Fastball, but have only seen confirmations of this come from console version players. I tried farming the train but it never showed. Boll seemed to be the answer, so I decided to farm him. never got one from boll got plenty from loot midgets and loot hunt, Got my one and only non-Loot Hunt Fastball from a chest about a week before the Hunt began. Lee is in the lowest tier of runnable boss so he should never have been dropping huge amounts of anything in the first place - about the same as a regular badass enemy. so apparently lol. He can be really stubborn sometimes and other times you can get like 3 in 10 runs. Personally I’d rather have 8 chances to get one than 3- also, on the way there you can try to get a Cobra, and the Bar enemies have a rare chance to world drop a legendary item, to say nothing of the occasional Gunzerker or Commando class mod, heads, Hulks and Ravagers, Nukem, Kerblaster etc…
