I'm very excited about this. I have never been a huge Star Wars fan, but I know that the prequels were not box office bombs. To those who wanted one of the other two, I'm sure you'll see them soon. The new gunship will be pointless if it isn't minifig scale, but if they UCS the scale of it up, they'll lose that duality. Ages 4 and up. It appeared often in the Clone Wars, so to never make it again would be stupid.

Just look at other UCS sets, like Vader’s TIE, AT-ST, both Snowspeeders, both Y-Wings, both X-Wings, and many more. It's just completely incompatible with their guidelines on stability - unless they make an Advent calendar or similarly small version of it.And while I would have loved the TIE Bomber to win, I knew early on that it wouldn't stand a chance.Would have liked to see the results if the third option had been a UCS AT-AT instead of the TIE Bomber. Although UCS Cantina would be a dream. Yes, I voted for this but I will be very mad if there isn't a Jedi Bob and while it was between this and the Nebulon B there wasn't really much contest with Clone Wars returning later this month on my Birthday. Either way, I wasn't planning on buying on any of these (unless there are extremely desirable figures) since there are much much better MOC's you find and make (Lepin doesn't count obviously). Adding such a ship to the UCS was an inevitable win.

LEPIN World is the best choice for all Bricks Fan Toys. Except they're not engines, they're missile launchers; the engines are in the fuselage rear. Obviously there are no details yet on when this LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship will be arriving. But, most importantly, it would feature vast improvements to the bubble turrets which always seemed so underwhelmingly developed.
