Kite Flying at Downhill Demesne (12 noon – 5pm) Award winning kite displays, stunt kite performances, and synchronised kite teams, plus kites as big as your house!!! The festival isn't just about watching the professionals - you can bring your own kite, make one on the day or buy one from our shop and show off your kite flying skills or get tips from the professionals. Bird Trail at Bishop's Gate (12 noon – 5pm) Self-led bird-themed nature trail through the gardens at Bishop's Gate.
