Crappie fishing is good around brush piles and boat docks with minnows and jigs. Scout for diving birds early or late in the day to mark feeding schools. The piers have been great for all species. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs finding shade. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait. NACONICHE: GOOD. RICHLAND CHAMBERS: GOOD. It’s no surprise that Texas has a bait and tackle shop on what seems like every corner. Channel and blue catfish are good on punch bait. Catfish are good on dough balls, and cut and live bait. Remember to stay on the Texas side of the lake unless you possess a Mexican fishing license. Look for birds diving over feeding schools of white bass.
