The horse is taken in by Federica, who becomes obsessed with it once she notices its resemblance to the one painted on a damaged tapestry. I must admit Iâm not too sure why this was done instead of having the track playing over the newly restored version. This telling is the most faithful to Poe of the three tales told in Spirits of the Dead, which might as well serve as an effective retort to those critics who consider it the least successful.

Though I was disappointed by the lack of disc features, the booklet is a great inclusion and does make up a bit for the lack of much else.
