We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised like we were: When we first tried it, we couldn’t believe the deep, clear sound of the U-Bass. The satin finish lends a lovely, natural look and the slotted headstock adds just a touch of contemporary “cool” factor. Sounds good and was not that difficult to keep in tune the first few weeks of use. Holds it's tune. Absolutely! Also it feels really cheap.
The one I received was carefully packed, arriving in perfect physical condition. Highly recommended.

The size is good for me. I researched and researched, and decided I had to have a Kala because they're the best.
The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is walnut. This Classic Mahogany Soprano Ukulele comes at a lower price. I play guitar and viola, so I'm musical, but new to the ukulele. The sound is great and it’s exactly what I was looking for. They apparently feel nice to her fingers sound good, they took a little while to break in but after a month or so they keep in tune really well. The short review is that I absolutely love it. This is her first real instrument, started playing songs 1st day. The satin finish doesn’t pick up a lot of fingerprints, and the walnut bridge and fingerboard offer more natural warmth to the appearance.

I bought thus ukulele from Casico Inc., as a used floor model in 'very good' condition. I ordered the ebony one, but received this one instead. So I chose the ukulele, due to its smaller size and only having four strings. The strings are Aquila super nylgut, great right out of the package. I had a Kala Makala soprano and my music teacher (yes, I'm an adult taking music lessons) thought maybe the concert size would be a little easier.
